New York Nagaram Urangum Neram......

New York Nagaram Urangum Neram....Thanemai Thanemai'ey......I love this song and every time I listen to this it makes me Nostalgic refreshing my memories with New York . Well though this song was not shooted there, its lyrics are very catchy and puts a smile on the face, to hear New York Nagaram Urangum....does this ever happen???...Not at all!!!! The streets or atleast the Times Square is always bustling with people. I have tried till 1AM in the morning, it is always crowded and happening :)
Being in New Jersey was a paradise. I just love the country, my county, my office, my apartment, my room-mate, my friends...oh god!!! let me not become emotional here :). New Jersey is calm, serene and blooming rightly named as Garden State. But with just one hour ride, you reach the most happening place on the globe - New York.
I would have made atleast a dozen visit to this place everything to see or experience one place :). You can shop, eat, watch tamil/hindi movies, visit museums, monuments, stroll in the central park, take a ride on the water car, or just walk walk walk!!!!
Ok, lets take a quick photo ride across New York. For any new comer or tourist, Times Square is the landmark. My first visit to New York was on 31st Dec 2005 to watch New Year celebration in Times Square. Imagine the already crowded place getting more crowds to watch the ball coming down!!! Though we reached the place at afternoon 3PM itself, we could never get the glimpse of it, but I just loved being in New York every minute.

for all the chocolate lovers,

for all the coffee lovers,

a closer look at Times Square

oh yeah, the NASDAQ

I do have more pictures in my other hard disk which is still in India. Will get it soon and take you across many other famous shops in New York.
Now, lets take a road trip across few of the destined spots in New York - Empire State, Chrysler Building, Rockefeller,New York Stock Exchange, the very old church in New York Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge.

I Love the Rockefeller Center and will never forget the Ice Skating experience.

No trip to New York is complete without visiting the beautiful lady from France, Yes the Statue of Liberty!!!

An eagle ready to fly off in Liberty park, It somehow looks so damn powerful to me, everytime I kind of see this picture, I think its a real one

Well, now comes a scene from Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya......

For all the Museum Lovers, New York could be one of our favorite destination. Of the many I visited, I love the Bodies-the exhibition, Natural History Museum and ofcourse the Madam Thussad's Wax Museum.

I am missing the Grand Central Station (One of the world Busiest Metro), Central Park and Twin Tower Memorial pictures. Will upload as soon as I get my other hard disk.
